soo theres alot of tips for this ,but I'm bored and I've made these countless times so you can trust me :) lol
supplies/ingredients:
7 bowls(1 big one and 6 medium ones)
spoons(to stir...duh (: )
white cake mix and anything to make it
food coloring
muffin pan
those little paper cupcake things(does any one know what those are called?)
and the obvious...a oven :3
1.) pre heat your oven to whatever the box says and mix the cake mix in the big bowl ofcourse!
2.) once you've mixed that together you want to separate it into the 6 smaller bowls
3.) delending on what type of food coloring your using you could use anywhere to 8-32+ drops of food coloring and stir in,but some tips on that
red: to get it to a primary red you'll need alot so you might want to get one of the big bottles
orange: I always tend to use more red but just alittle
yellow: this ones pretty easy just be careful not to turn it into more of a gold
green: Fairley easy just dont go to dark or else it will turn out brown when bakes
blue: easy-peasy just dont let it be pastel :p
purple: I always use around the same amount of blue and red, but It always turns alittle brown on bottom :p
4.) now put the little muffin paper things in the muffin pan and starting with purple add the colors in evenly so it should go purple on bottom then blue, green, yellow, orange, and on top red...it might overfill but ehh they just look like cute mushrooms :D
5.) put the tray in the oven for however ling the box says so and let cool...you can add icing if you want also I like using the shiny silver muffin cups cause you can't see the colors intill you peel it off
easy right...i make these for my friends and church and everyone is always amazed asuming their so hard to make when all it is,is a box mix and food coloring :))
